Security and privacy
Built on official platform APIs
Kotakchat connects only through each platform's official interfaces. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time.
- Facebook and Instagram connect through Facebook Login for Business: you pick the Pages and accounts, review the permissions, and never share your Facebook password with us.
- Access tokens and channel credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and never shown in full again.
- Data from Meta is used only to run your inbox. It is not sold and not used for advertising.
- Disconnect a channel under Setting → Connection, or remove the app in your Facebook settings, whenever you want.
